About me
Tena kotou katoa. My name is Tracey Gallagher and I have 17 years of teaching experience working across a number of Intermediate schools in Auckland. My motivation is to modernize how Maths is delivered so that students are engaged, excited, and supported through a robust, transparent curriculum program.
Mathematics
Mathematics is an essential skill that all students must attain. Being able to explore number concepts with confidence and curiosity is a key component of how Mathematics is taught to our students. Students are taught how to use symbols, graphs, and diagrams to help them find and communicate patterns and relationships. They are also shown how to create models that allow them to showcase their thinking of hypothetical, mathematical contexts and situations.
