About Me
Kia ora, my name is George Hollingworth and I am in charge of English at Bader Intermediate. I have had a range of unique experiences working with children, including time spent teaching in England. My commitment is to provide students with authentic, differentiated learning experiences that can help children realise their full potential and to become meaningful contributors in society.

English

English is a key component of the New Zealand Curriculum and is linked to all other learning areas. Students are taught to speak, read, and make sense of information that is delivered either through literature, movies or music. To be successful it is important that students are nurtured and guided so that they become effective oral, written, and visual communicators who are critical with their thinking and ideas. English is covered throughout the whole academic year.
